Does Oceans Edge charge a resort fee?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our nightly resort fee of $52 plus tax provides guests with the following:

2 hours of paddleboard, kayak, and bicycle use per guest, per day
Resort activities (e.g. yoga, SUP classes, poolside movies, and lawn games)
Hourly shuttle service to downtown Key West (9 a.m. to 11 p.m.)
6 saltwater pools that are temperature-controlled with poolside service and towels
24-hour gym access
In-room bottled water, coffee, and tea
Onsite and digital concierge service

We have also instituted a Destination Fee as outlined below:

Is there a charge for early departures?

Accepted Answer

Yes, an early departure fee will apply if guests leave prior to their originally scheduled check-out day.

Question 3

What time are check-in and check-out?

Accepted Answer

Check-in time is 4 p.m., check-out is 11 a.m. Early check-in and late check-out are based on the resort’s availability to accommodate these special requests. Fees might apply.

What are the complimentary rentals hours?

Use of kayaks, paddleboards, and bicycle is available at the Tiki Hut between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Resort fee includes two hours of complimentary rental per day, per guest.

Does Oceans Edge offer concierge services?

Both onsite and digital concierge services are available during stay. Click here to access more  information on these services. Our lobby concierge desk is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.

Are pets allowed?

Accepted Answer

Two dogs under 60 lbs. per room are allowed with a $75 fee per night per animal, and they must always be accompanied by their owners. Our daily pup accommodations include treats at check-in, collapsible water bowl for each dog, access to our dog park, and a VIP door hanger. We also offer convenient “dogipot” receptacles across the property.
*Please be advised that our fury guests are not permitted on the pool deck areas or in the pools at any time.

Does the resort allow smoking?

No, Oceans Edge is a Non-Smoking Property. A $500 cleaning fee will be charged for any smoking in rooms.

Are there restaurants on site?

Yes. Yellowfin Bar & Kitchen restaurant offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Restaurant hours are 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., bar hours are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. with happy hour 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. In-room dining and liquor service is available.

What are the pool hours?

Oceans Edge Resort guests have access to six temperature-controlled pools. Ocean Pools in front of guest buildings 1 & 2 are open from 7am – 10pm. Marina Pools in front of guest building 3 are open 7am - Sunset.

Is there a shuttle to Duval Street?

Accepted Answer

Yes, our daily shuttle service makes visiting downtown Key West hassle-free. The shuttle departs the resort at the top of the hour at the Tiki Hut between 9 a.m. and 11 p.m., with hourly drop-off and pick-up in front of the Waterfront Brewery in downtown Key West between 9:25 a.m. and 11:25 p.m.

Is there parking at the resort?

Onsite parking is available for $29/night plus tax per vehicle.

Is there a charge for additional guests added to my reservation?

Accepted Answer

Rooms are confirmed for the number of adults and children selected at time of booking. If you are traveling with more than 2 adults in your party, an extra adult fee of $20/night plus tax applies.

Our website and booking engine may contain technical inaccuracies and typographical errors, including but not limited to inaccuracies relating to pricing or availability applicable to your transaction. Oceans Edge does not assume responsibility or liability for any such inaccuracies, errors or omissions. We reserve the right to make changes, corrections, and/or improvements to our website and booking engine, and to the products and programs described in such information, at any time without notice, including after confirmation of a transaction.

Does Oceans Edge provide parking for boat trailers?

Onsite boat trailer parking is available for $40/night plus tax per trailer. Space is limited and requests must be made in advance.

What is your policy regarding firearms and weapons on the property?

For the safety and security of all guests and staff, firearms and weapons of any kind are not permitted anywhere on our property, including guest rooms, common areas, parking facilities, and all outdoor spaces. This policy applies to all guests, visitors, and third parties, regardless of permit status.

Absolutely. Our two-bedroom accommodations are ideal for families who want to be together without sacrificing comfort. Each pair of rooms connects through a private vestibule, offering easy access between spaces along with the privacy of separate entrances.

What if it Rains During My Stay?

Guests who add the Weather Guarantee at booking are eligible for a daily reimbursement if qualifying rain occurs during their stay. Coverage is triggered when 1+ hours of rainfall at 1.5 mm/hour or more takes place between 8 AM and 8 PM. Sensible Weather monitors your forecast and handles reimbursement automatically. No claims required.
